About Annalisa

Annalisa Temple, formerly Annalisa Yenne, is the Republican candidate for the State Assembly District 21. Her name is on the November 4th General election ballot. Annalisa’s unique background gives her a deep understanding of the issues that are most important to the residents in our area.

Annalisa Temple grew up in the Noe Valley neighborhood of San Francisco. Both of her parents, Carol and Bill Yenne, came to California from Montana with the intention of providing their children with more opportunity. Carol Yenne, Annalisa’s mother, owns and manages a retail children’s clothing store in San Francisco, Small Fry’s. Her father, Bill Yenne, is the founder of AGS Book works,  a book publishing and producing firm.

Annalisa and her sister, Azia Yenne Bolos, were raised in San Francisco and attended both public and private schools. Their parents were active in PTA, neighborhood associations, and city committees.

Annalisa left San Francisco to attend Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. Annalisa learned a great deal about purpose and service while at SCU. She graduated from there in 2004 with a degree in Economics and a degree in Political Science.

It was during Annalisa Temple’s college years, she became active in government and policy. She spent time in Washington D.C. studying at American University in the field of Peace, Conflict Resolution, and Mediation.

Annalisa’s volunteer and paid positions on Capitol Hill exposed her to the issues important to the League of California cities, San Francisco and other large cities, and local county education departments such as Los Angeles.

Annalisa Temple returned to the Bay Area and began working for the prestigious firm of Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in Menlo Park. Her work in the private financial sector has exposed her to many issues concerning young entrepreneurs, families, family owned businesses and corporations. Candidate, Annalisa Temple, has received numerous industry awards for her work.

In 2007, Todd Temple a member of the same Northwestern Mutual firm asked Annalisa for her hand in marriage. They were married in 2008 in Menlo Park.

Today, both Todd and Annalisa manage their joint clientele. When not in the office, you can find them bike riding their daughter Anika Temple, a 4th grader at Oak Knoll to school along with their dog, Titus Temple.

Annalisa Temple is running for California State Assembly in order to offer pragmatic solutions to the problems that confront our local families and businesses in these challenging times. Many key budget concerns are not being addressed by her opponent and other elected officials because they are receiving money from the groups that oppose reform and benefit from status quo.  Annalisa pledges to not receive campaign money from any special interest groups that she will have to make legislative decisions about once elected.

By supporting Annalisa’s campaign for the 21st Assembly District, you are supporting a quality Republican candidate for public office, who in turn will put your ideas of lower taxes, smaller government, and personal responsibility back into California State government. It is time for common sense to prevail once again in our region!

The 21st District now encompasses all or part of 13 cities in
San Mateo and Santa Clara counties, including San Carlos, Redwood City, Atherton, Portola Valley, Woodside, Menlo Park, East Palo Alto, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, the Almaden Valley of San Jose, and Stanford University.
